Dave Gibson has been fishing the Sanibel - Captiva area since 1974, moved here permanently in '79 and became a full time guide in '86. He specializes in light tackle and fly fishing for snook, tarpon, redfish, sharks, trout, and all other species that call Sanibel home. He fishes out of a 17' Action Craft flats boat and supplies license, bait, tackle, cooler & ice. The only thing you need to bring is food & beverage. Shimano, Loomis, Diawa, Diamondback, Cortland, Hardy, Okuma tackle is supplied. Dave is very patient and knowledgeable instructor for fly fishing. Whether you are a beginner or very accomplished, he can help you become a better caster. He is also very familiar with the wildlife and history of the area and conducts birding, shelling, sightseeing, & lunch tours as well.
